Letterpress is a historic printing process in which a custom made plate is inked and then pressed into a sheet of thick (usually cotton or bamboo) paper. It can readily be identified by the impressions of the letters which "punch" into the paper slightly, creating a stunning raised background effect. When only the highest quality papers and inks are used (which we certainly do!), letterpress may easily be considered the most elegant and timeless of all invitation printing styles! Usually, due to the fact that it is extremely time consuming, you will find that letterpress invitations are among the most expensive out there. However, we've partnered with some of the best (and most affordable too!) letterpress printers out there, and we think you'll love what you see as a result!
