What types of printing do you offer?
We offer the finest flat/digital printing, thermography, and letterpress/foil stamping.

How much should I budget for invitations and stationery?
Generally a good rule of thumb is to budget about 5% of your total wedding budget for invitations and other paper goods like programs, place cards, thank you cards, etc.

I’m on a tight budget. What can I do to keep the price down?
We’re happy to discuss some creative suggestions to keep the price of your invitation suite down without sacrificing style. Some quick ideas: use a reply postcard instead of a reply card and envelope set; change a 2 color letterpress design to 1 color, or use a 2 color letterpress invitation but 1 color accessory pieces; decrease the card size which saves money on your order as well as on postage; use a small website card to replace your accommodation & direction cards, etc.

How do I know what quantity to order?
After counting the number of couples, families, and guests on your list, make sure to order an additional 15-20% more to account for anyone that may have been forgotten, late add-ons, and to save or give as keep-sakes. Having to place additional small orders after the fact can get pricey due to print minimums and rush and expedited shipping fees. We’re not trying to up-sell you here, we’re just speaking from past experience – it happens a lot!

When should I place my invitation order and when should I have them mailed out by?
We recommend that you place your order between 4 and 6 months before your event date, and definitely no later than 12 weeks out. Invitations typically need to be mailed out 8-10 weeks prior to your date. We also find that its best to leave at least 2 weeks of “wiggle room” between our ship date and your mail out date. Typically you will receive your order within a month of your final proof approval.

When do Save-the-Dates typically get sent out?
Usually 6-9 months before your event. Sometimes even farther out if you are having a destination wedding.

Can I get a preview of what my invitation will look like before I order it?
Yes! You receive two rounds of electronic proofs included with your order. Full physical mock-ups are available, though they usually cost $100+ depending on the complexity of your order. This is because our materials only come in quantities of 25, even if you only need to see one.

What exactly is an electronic proof?
An electronic proof is an image of the printed part of your invitation so that you can see exactly what your invitation will look like before you place your order. We can send it to you easily via e-mail. Please click here to see a small non-zoomable proof example.

Are you able to create other products in addition to just invitations?
Absolutely! We love getting orders for more than just invitations! In addition to save-the-dates and invitations, we also do announcements, programs, table cards, place cards, menus, thank you stationery, favor boxes, tags, labels, ceremony & reception signs, welcome cards, direction cards, rehearsal dinner & brunch invites, and bachelor/ette party invites. The list goes on and on! We can also provide custom monograms or lettering for lighting or to your cake vendor if needed.

Can I make my order eco-friendly?
Sure! Some of our vendors specifically provide us with paper that is either 100% recycled or contains some post consumer waste. It is also domestically milled and created using renewable energy sources such as hydro power or wind power. You want “green” invitations? You got em’!

I’m a little behind, can you rush my order?
Usually, yes. Contact us with your time frame and we’ll be happy to assess your specific situation and let you know if we’re able to complete it or not. It all depends upon the complexity of your order and how many other orders we have to complete in that time frame. If we are able, an additional fee will be added to your invoice. We’re sorry, but if we didn’t charge extra and everyone rushed their orders, we wouldn’t be able to complete any on time!

Will my invitations come assembled?
Yes! That’s what you’re paying us to do, after all! The less you have to do the better! Any order that requires adhesive will automatically come put together, but let us know if you want us to take it a step farther and stuff, stamp, and mail them out too for an additional fee. It is a service well worth paying for, and it will literally save you hours of time and tons of hassle!

How can I pay for my order?
We will send you an electronic invoice via email where you can pay securely via credit card, or by good old check or cash, whatever is easiest!

How will I know how much postage to buy?
If you opt out of our stamping (we can use vintage or standard wedding postage stamps) service and are buying postage on your own, do yourself a favor and wait until you have a completed and stuffed invitation in your hand to take to the post office for weighing. Though most wedding invitations will only cost .49 or .71 cents to mail, USPS is pretty picky and it is always recommended to wait and buy the postage that they instruct you to.
