It feels like we're just catching back up to speed after being gone all of last week for the National Stationery Show in NYC, and then a friend's wedding in DC, and then Memorial Day! It was all really a whirlwind (and seriously how is it almost June already?!?), but boy did I have a good time! I really look forward to going to the stationery show every year - something about being surrounded by all the pretty new papers, invitation designs, and other fun gifty items that I just can't resist. It's exhausting on the feet, but I love traveling up and down all of the aisles and scoping out all the newest trends, tools, and gadgets - picture the wide-eyed Puss in Boots from Shrek and that's me haha.
Anyway, I always find myself in awe of some of the creativity of the exhibitors and booth designers, so I tried to snap a few quick photos this year...
Kate Spade had a really cool booth, complete with an old writer's desk and this awesome chandelier...
BT Elements had one of my favorite booths, with their sparkly logo and fun favor items!
Love how Dolce Press had their letterpress suites set up in wooden "frames". A great way to display their suites!
I just love all of the burlap and lace that is still trending right now - it makes for some really beautiful invitation suites!
Paper picnic, complete with bows for grass, how cute!
And it just wouldn't be the stationery show without visiting Soho Paper's gorgeously designed double booth! Here are just a few of their new colors, shapes, and sizes.
Until next year, National Stationery Show!
