Who we are & what we do...
The Silver Starfish is a stationery studio specializing in unique wedding invitations, wedding stationery, and other event stationery. What makes us different from other stationery vendors is that our designs are completely custom to YOUR colors and YOUR needs. We design everything ourselves, unless you prefer to choose an invitation from one of our trusted print partners' portfolios. Don't worry, we won't be offended, we promise! Why partner with outside vendors, you ask? That's easy. As much as we'd love to, we realize that we can't provide specialty printing, such as letterpress & thermography, in house. So we went out there and found the best (and most affordable at that) vendors to partner with. The result? The flexibility to design and produce invitations of all types & sizes, in almost every print style. Nice huh? We like to think so!So, think of our product samples as merely starting points. After choosing a starting place, you may want to change the art, the wording, the size, the paper and ink colors, the possibilities are really endless! There's no cookie cutter invitations here! The answer is almost always, "YES we can do that!" And even if you'd rather use the vision or inspiration in your head as your "starting point", we can do that too! The ultimate goal is to capture your personality so that your invitations reflect your personal style, flair, and the true spirit of your event. Now of course, we're not going to argue with you if you'd like to keep things simple and pick em' like you see em'! There's never any shame in falling in love with a design and choosing it like it is! In fact, we'll take that as a compliment and a pat on the back. So, if that's what you choose to do, then thank you! We've got hundreds of beautiful designs to fit your style and budget, many more than are displayed on this website, so don't let that fool you! We've got everything from luxurious, one-of-a-kind, boxed invitations suites, to fabulous budget friendly styles designed to maximize every dollar of your stationery budget! Not having a wedding? That's OK too! We create for all kinds of events including (but certainly not limited to) Rehearsal Dinners, Bachelor/Bachelorette Parties, Birth Announcements, Birthdays, and even corporate events.
